About
Qanvero is a performance apparel brand built for social partner dancers. Two co-founders, both dancers, both unwilling to wear what was already on the shelf. Singapore-first. Global ambition. Pre-order opens for the Corda, our first piece, in April 2027.
The Story
Nothing in our wardrobes fit how we actually danced. The shirts rode up on the spin. The seams scratched in the close hold. The fabric clung at hour three and gave up at hour six.
Yoga wear was too loose. Gym kit was too aggressive. Athleisure didn't understand a partner's grip. Fashion didn't understand what a five-hour social does to a fabric. So we sat with the problem for two years before we wrote a single spec.
The Corda is what we wanted to wear on a floor we already knew.
Performance shirts that hold shape. Seams that go unnoticed. Fabric that breathes at hour six. No zippers, no buttons, no hardware. Slim cut for the close frame. Made for the dancer who treats the floor with the seriousness of a professional and the openness of an amateur in the original Latin sense. For the love of it.

Brand · Web · Strategy
West Coast Swing dancer based in Singapore. Builds the brand identity, the web stack, the SEO strategy, the 3D and visual systems, and the e-commerce infrastructure. The one who notices when the shirt rides up at hour four and writes a note about it.
Design · Fitment · Textile
Garment designer with a dancer's perspective on movement. Leads pattern-making, fitment, textile selection, and the sample-to-production handoff. The one who specs the flatlock seam and tests it through a six-hour social before signing off.
What we hold
01 · Performance over polish
Every choice begins with what the fabric does at hour six in a close hold. The fit, the look, the polish all follow from that. If a design choice makes the dance worse, we cut it.
02 · The partner is the test
No hardware. Clean edges on every seam. Smooth where hands land. The shirt has to serve both dancers, the one wearing it and the one holding it. That filters most of what would be a normal apparel decision.
03 · The schedule is honest
We name the year a piece drops because we mean it. No drip campaigns, no false scarcity, no waitlists that go nowhere.
04 · Made by people who dance
Both of us are on the floor every week. The brand reads the way it does because we know what a closed frame feels like at hour four. If we ever stop dancing, we stop writing the copy ourselves.
